Department of Local Administration welcomed researchers from Pridi Banomyong International College, Thammasart University, and researchers from Center of ASEAN Studies, Gadjah Mada University

Mr. Sittiwee Vannapruegs, Director of Subdivision of Techinical Services and Research for Local Development, Division of Local Administrative Development, Department of Local Administration, and representatives from Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, welcomed Asst. Prof. Sunida Aroonpipat from Pridi Banomyong International College, Thammasart University, and researchers from Center of ASEAN Studies, Gadjah Mada University, Republic of Indonesia, on the occasion of providing information for the research project ‘Compliance under Fragmented Governance: The Case Study of the Implementation of ASEAN Economic Community in Thailand’ at Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, on 21 November 2016 at 09.00 am.
The significant issues are the promotion of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by the central government and local administrative organizations, the strategy formulation on the promotion of AEC by local administrative organizations, and problems and obstacles of local administrative organizations in implementing AEC promotion policies from the central government.
